We at AAP are all about spay and neuter. We are so all about spay and neuter we are willing to help you spay and neuter your pets by giving you $50.00 for a female spay and $30.00 for a male neuter. Anybody else giving you any help?
We know you must be wondering why we are so excited about spaying and neutering! Thought you would never ask so here are some very good reasons we will share with you:
will decrease health risks such as cancers or diseases associate with the reproductive organs such as ovarian and breast cancer, pyometria, prostate cancer - saves on vet bills and much grief
will reduce annoying behaviours - peeing on your stuff, aggressiveness, howling during mating season wandering away from home, being injured in fights
will decrease pet overpopulation by avoiding unwanted litters of puppies and kittens, there are just not enough homes to go around
will reduce the amount of animals that are abandoned, plugging up the shelters, pounds and rescues and again not enough homes to go around
will reduce the large number of animals that are killed in shelters, pounds and veterinarians that is to say a lot of unnecessary killing - the numbers are staggering like hundreds of thousands
This is how the program works: The money comes in the form of a coupon which when presented at the time of surgery entitles you to a reduction in the bill by $50.00 for a female spay or $30.00 for a male neuter. The only veterinarian who will accept these coupons is the Eardley Veterinary Clinic in Aylmer, QC. Their phone number is 819-684-1188. You need to fill out a form ( press Download Form ) and send it to us by mail or by e-mail and we will send the coupon(s) directly to the clinic. Bonus - if you do not want vaccinations at this time, they will do the spay/neuter without the vaccinations for cats (I am not sure about dogs)
We encourage you to shop around, not all veterinarians charge the same price and if you choose another veterinarian, you can still get the deal but as a reward. You pay for it, download the form and send it to us with a copy of the bill or a spay/neuter certificate and we will send you a cheque. It is a win-win. Please make sure your name is on the bill and submit the form and bill within 30 days of the date of surgery.
Are you feeding outdoor cats? Need to get them spayed and neutered? Are they ferals? We have traps that you can borrow. We have a programme for them too. You will need to contact me Mary at 819-647-5794 and we will come up with a plan and I'll let you know how affordable it is. Cats don't know how to add but they know how to multiply. If you only have a few the process is much simpler and less expensive. After numerous litters you will be paying a lot of moola to feed them.
